HUSC teams finish strong in Memorial Day tournaments

A number of HUSC teams participated in tournaments over the past weekend.

The U15 Riptide placed second overall in the MSSL tournament at Fort Dix, NJ. They competed against teams from Princeton, Florence, Long Island, Westchester NY, and Utica NY. 

There were a number of teams who participated in the Hopewell Valley tournament: 

The U19B Xtreme went undefeated in the tournament finishing with 3 wins and 1 tie. 

The U11G Hurricanes also went undefeated in the tournament finishing 3-0-1 to take home the second place trophies in their division.
 
The U12G Blue Lightning added to their successful season with a win and a tie in the tournament. The team showed their determination after falling behind 2-0 early against a strong BTSC team but came back to win 3-2 in a thrilling match. 

The U8B Force finished 1-1-2 in the tournament. Their first loss of the season was a 2-1 loss against a top flighted GFSC team – the winning goal for GFSC coming with seconds left in the match. 

Additionally, the U12G Strikers, U10G Nitro and U16G Invasion were equally impressive in their respective divisions.
